AI in Action: A Recap of Think Global Forum London 2025

On March 19th, the latest edition of Think Global Forum unfolded at the impressive Royal Horseguards Hotel in London. The location overlooks iconic landmarks like Big Ben, Whitehall, and the Houses of Parliament, so the setting alone was enough to inspire big thinking. And that’s exactly what followed.

AI in Action focused on the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence in global business and localization. With an incredible mix of industry leaders, innovators, and localization experts, the event delivered on its promise to challenge, inform, and connect.

Global Thinking in 2025

The event kicked off with a boardroom session, allowing attendees to discuss key issues and opportunities as well as share valuable insights. After lunch, guests were treated to a powerful and thought-provoking opening address by Patrick Kelly, Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Vistatec.

He outlined the challenges of the transformations in recent years and emphasized the vital nature of adaptability, ethical tech, and the human element behind AI. He reminded attendees that technology must always serve human connection, not the other way around. He set the tone for the day with a strong message: “AI is a powerful enabler, but it is people who drive strategy.”

Showcasing AI in Action

The main forum stage came alive with compelling presentations by Aneta Sapeta and Rocío Martínez. Each offered a unique take on how AI is reshaping localization and global communication as a whole.

Aneta kicked things off with a fascinating look at AI innovation at Vistatec, discussing Workflow and MT/AI teams and sharing some compelling research carried out on the subject. Rocío explored how integrated AI tools are transforming multilingual content creation, campaign workflows, and social media strategies.

There were insightful perspectives all around and an overwhelming sense that groundbreaking innovation is possible when amplifying what we do best and when deployed thoughtfully.

Collaboration and Connection

A special Open Session gave attendees a chance to speak up and share their professional experiences. Some insightful questions were posed, such as, “How have you embraced AI innovations to address the evolving needs of localization, and what specific technologies have proven to be game-changers?”. This paved the way for eye-opening discussions that proved to be the cherry on the cake of an already productive day.

In addition, impromptu chats over coffee or at the VIP dinner gave attendees from diverse industries the chance to share ideas, forge new partnerships, and debate the future of global content.

A Shoutout to the Organizers

None of this would have been possible without the impeccable planning and creative execution led by María Roa from the Vistatec Marketing Department in collaboration with the wider team. Every detail reflected their commitment to delivering an engaging and insightful experience.

Looking Ahead with AI

The conversations that took place in London this March will ultimately shape how we approach AI and globalization in the months and years to come.

We send out a huge thank you to our Forum Executives, guest speakers, and everyone who made the journey to attend.
