Having started her localization career in the early 2000s, Teresa Lawless brings a wealth of commercial experience to the team, including Life Sciences, Software & IT, and Financial expertise. Driven by helping clients review how they are currently managing global content, and by helping to introduce change and solutions that allow them to be more successful, Teresa is focused on new business acquisitions. Teresa is working directly with European and global customers to help deliver successful client outcomes.

Sharon Fahy (Keynote)
Director Of Regulatory Affairs, Medtronic Ireland

Sharon Fahy is a Director of Regulatory Affairs at Medtronic’s Center of Excellence for Operations and R&D at Parkmore Galway, Ireland.

In this role she has responsibility for the leadership of the RA Department and is part of the Site Leadership Team focused on design and implementation of site strategy in support of multiple businesses for Medtronic across the Cardiac and Vascular Group.

She has over 20 years industry experience working in pharmaceutical and medical device companies in both quality and regulatory roles. Sharon leads a diverse regulatory department involved in the development and implementation of global regulatory strategies for various medical devices and combination products.

She interfaces with numerous regulatory authorities including US FDA, Notified Bodies and Competent Authorities in addition to the large Medtronic community around the globe. Serving as the link between business, product and regulatory authorities, the Regulatory Affairs team provide strategic direction to the management of the entire medical device life cycle – from inception to market.

As a key partner to R&D and manufacturing operations, our mission is to develop innovative strategies for regulatory approval, anticipate and respond to changing regulatory requirements, and provide strategic leadership to influence the global regulatory environment in order to benefit the patients we serve.
